Effective 1st April 2025, we are delighted to offer room hire at our new premises 1 Black Bull Close. Various rooms are available that can be used for a multitude of purposes including business meetings and events, private functions, classes and workshops.
Upstairs Function/Training Room
Beautiful restored first floor heritage space that can be used for meetings, events and classes. Maximum of 55 people standing, 30 seated or 12 plus instructor for fitness classes.
Available for hire during the day, weekends and evenings. Lift and stair access available.
Kitchen (Upstairs)
Brand new commercially fitted kitchen which can be used for cooking classes, community catering or catered events (you will need to source your caters).
Available for hire during the day, weekends and evenings. Lift and stair access available.
Downstairs Function Room
Beautiful modern downstairs function room with glass sliding doors to the gardens. Includes a small kitchen area for refreshments. Maximum 40 people.
Available for hire weekends and evenings only.
Gardens
Our beautiful garden space with dry walls, and raised beds provides a great space outdoors space. Accessed via the main entrance to the premises, it makes a great add on to summertime events held in the downstairs function room. It may also be accessed from the side if hiring the upstairs function room areas only.

Discounted rates are offered when hiring multiple rooms for larger and/or catered events.
Smaller room hire is also available within our support centre pods and next door at 2 Black Bull Close.
Upstairs Studio (Roger’s Land)
The first floor studio room at 2 Black Bull Close is a beautiful example of heritage restoration. This is an intimate space with a maximum capacity of 12 people, or 6 plus instructor for fitness classes.
Available for hire during the day, weekends and evenings. Access is by an external staircase only and there are no toilet facilities, however our unisex toilets at 1 Black Bull Close may be used during business hours.
Support Pods
We can also offer usage of our small pods to support social meeting needs for a maximum of 3 people. These are available during Ridge Support office hours only by prior arrangement with the Support Manager. For enquiries email support@the-ridge.org.uk
