We are delighted to announce that we will be running our Constructing Futures pre-apprenticeship programme from September 28th.
This 12-week, no-cost construction and life skills programme encourages self-sufficiency through skills training and education in the construction industry. Successful participants will achieve a National Progression Award (NPA) in Construction and Craft and Technician at SCQF level 4.
The purpose is to help participants develop an understanding of apprenticeship and employment opportunities available in the construction trades. Each participant will gain knowledge of various career opportunities within the trades, basic entry-level skills, construction experience through work placements, plus familiarity with trade tools, terminology and basic principles.
We are now accepting applications for the programme, with in-person interviews taking place in the weeks leading up to the course. The programme will run from Monday 28 September to Thursday 17 December 2026. You will need to be available available to attend throughout the 12-week period with no holidays planned. We highly recommend getting your applications in as soon as possible.
To apply, please complete the application form and upload your CV (if you have one) to https://wkf.ms/3LBdJdD. You can also open the application form using the QR code below. For any enquiries, email us at training@the-ridge.org.uk.
