We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Pre-Apprenticeship Programme, designed by The Ridge. This programme is made possible through our partnership with Historic Environment Scotland and via funding from the Hamish Ogston Foundation.
CONSTRUCTING FUTURES
The purpose is to help participants develop an understanding of apprenticeship opportunities, which are available in the construction trades. Each participant will gain knowledge of various career opportunities within the trades, basic entry-level skills, construction experience through work placements with local employers, plus familiarity with trade tools, terminology and basic principles.
A 16 week no cost, construction and life skills programme,
Encouraging self-sufficiency through skills training and education in the construction industry.
