We are very excited and thrilled to say thank you to East Lammermuir Community Council for their recent piece of 2 year grant funding. This money will enable us to provide further focussed crisis funding within the community and to examine the services already in place, identify gaps and duplications. We want to create a ‘warm referral system’ for people in crisis that avoids the requirement for them to repeat their story and situation over and over again. We believe this deters people from seeking help in a timely manner and can lead to people and families falling through the cracks and not achieving and accessing the help that they need and are entitled to.
