The Ridge is delighted to announce a major funding award from the Coastal Communities Fund. We have been awarded £200,000 over 2 years, to deliver a number of specific projects, relating to the development of accredited training, getting people ready for work in the local job market (food production, horticulture, and fisheries); working with local traders to create a new food and local produce market in Dunbar and helping local food businesses to develop a co-ordinated delivery service.
This will have a direct impact on the local economy, supporting local businesses and creating local jobs.
A huge Thank You to CCF for their generous support, which will make an enormous difference to our ability to get things done. We are already fleshing out plans, and will have more detail to report shortly.
