Leaving school at 16 Emma had various jobs within the retail and care sector. She moved around a lot totting up 12 house moves in 15 years! Fell in love with Dunbar when she moved here 10 years ago and have finally settled after a rocky start to adult life. Currently studying Health and Social Care with Open University whilst raising a large family and doing youth work for East Lothian Council. Emma volunteers at the primary school helping to run the healthy snack trolly and recently volunteered with the Dunbar Area Christian Youth Project to provide mentoring to primary 6 children. She has a passion for improving and maintaining health and wellbeing through diet, exercise and lifestyle changes and enjoy coming up with cheap, delicious, healthy alternatives to processed food. In her spare time Emma enjoys knitting, sewing and gardening along with spending time having fun with her family in the outdoors.
