It’s been a busy and exciting time at The Ridge recently. We have started our fantastically successful Plenty Project.
The Plenty Project is designed for people who want to learn how, what and why to cook on a limited budget. Five sessions include classes on budgeting, nutrition and practical cooking, and then a community meal cooked by the course participants for up to 40 guests.
Cooking sessions focus on cheap, nutritious meals that can be enjoyed by the whole family, and can be tailored to participants’ own needs and what they would like to learn to cook and eat.
The project began in February 2017, and will run into the autumn.
